EXECUTIVE COACHING
Tom can come alongside the CEO and serve as an executive coach to the senior leadership team.  Often senior leadership is so consumed with daily tasks that when special projects emerge, senior leadership has little or no time to focus on them.  The SeelGroup has the ability to step in and manage any project.

SUCCESSION PLANNING
Once the ink has dried on who will succeed in business leadership, Tom can come alongside and ensure that the generational wisdom is passed to the new executive team.

PART-TIME COO and/or CFO LEADERSHIP
Many small- to mid-size companies are growing out of the recession and need strong leadership at the COO or CFO position but they cannot afford senior staff full-time.  That is where the Tom can step in by providing superior senior-staff leadership on a part-time basis that can grow with sales. 

REORGANIZATIONS
When executive management changes, a consultant is needed to facilitate the handing off and taking up of new job tasks among the staff.  Tom can work with the staff during this often chaotic time to facilitate a smooth flow during meeting with staff as often as daily to effect the change.  During the transition, employees are doing both their old job and new job and have little if any time to waste.  Owing to strong organizational, listening, and tasking skills, Tom has the ability to effect the transfer quickly, respectfully, and efficiently.

INTERIM SENIOR TEAM STAFFING
Often you are faced with the loss of a senior team member and it may take up to six months to find a qualified replacement if none exist internally.  Tom can step in as an interim senior staff member without missing a beat and keep the operations running at a high level.

TRANSITION CEO STAFFING
Often long-tenured CEOs retire and a very qualified incumbent is found to replace him/her.  But often the qualified successor fails due to no fault of his/her own.  The failure results from everyone expecting everything to be done the way the retired CEO did them.  A period of up to 2 years may be necessary utilizing a transition CEO in order to change the culture to fit the management style of the new incumbent.  

POLICY & BEST PRACTICES
The SeelGroup LLC has decades long experience writing policy to guide daily operations.  Regardless of whether the need is for general operating policy, human resources policy, finance policy, investment policy, disaster-recovery polidy, or other, Tom can craft policy that fits your culture and can provide the Board with assurances that the President & CEO has established reasonable, compliant, and practical boundaries from which the staff can operate.  Once completed, a review by legal counsel of the firm will be conducted before the Board is asked to approve it.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
The SeelGroup can lead new initiatives including developing new business lines by forging a business plan and then implementing it with new or existing staff.  Tom can also do feasibility studies to determine whether to hire fulltime staff or to outsource staffing.

MERGERS, ACQUISITIONS, AND WORKOUTS
Once the ink has dried on the merger, acquisition, or workout, the SeelGroup can be used to fashion a plan to complete it by empowering staff to establish and then to work the action plan. 
Expecting existing staff to collapse multiple software systems is unwise as they are normally already caught up with daily operations.  The Merger, Acquisition, or Workout plan presumably has established a budget to include some amount of an outsourced team to re-engineer systems and processes.
Much of all of these activities require a people-person who can genuinely listen to the senior leadership team and the staff and then communicate effectively with them.  Thus, much of Tom's work is building culture through trust across the entire staff.
